And we've got one!
Super thanks to Amy for submitting a comment. Hopefully, the break you took from killing mice to type your comment was worth it.
Tonight I will be meeting with Marge, who is a family friend from Madison, Wisconsin, who looked after me from age 1-5 through her day care service. We will be going to a authentic Chicago pizza place, that the Edmond North High School band when they visited Chicago. So tonight's theme will be visiting a more innocent time in my existence before I became the bitter blogger that I am today. At least since my day care days I've been toilet trained. And since my high school days, what crazy coming-of-age experiences have I had?????? Oooooo, hee hee hee... you know gentlemen don't tell tales... OK, actually I've done nothing. I have more CDs since then, a Bachelor's degree, and I've been paid occasionally for doing things loosely based on what I learned. So there. Super-cynicism over.

Wow this is better!
A big blog welcome to Amy, who hopefully is the first to see a new much more readable blog template.
I started this blog in 2002, then averaged about 2 posts PER YEAR. C'mon whose gonna read this???? Now that perhaps 2 people will read it, I got to get with the times.
Isn't it weird, Amy, to type these blogs, knowing that you won't have an audience (although it looks like your sister and another guy read your blog).
It's like your talking to yourself but in a way that makes it seem like you are talking to other people, that may or may not be there. Is that kind of pathetic or am I just reading into it too much.
Tori Amos is coming to Chicago, and I thought of you when I heard about it. Is their new album good?

Does a title even show up here?
For every statement, like this,FROM AN ELECTED OFFICIAL OF THE NATIONAL REPUBLICAN PARTY, the media should allow Howard Dean the following:
1) 10 YEEEAAAAAARGH moments
2) 5 pundits professing respect, not necessarily agreement, for his direct and blunt, but always sensible, criticism of Republican policies
3) 3 conservative columnists describing his moderate positions
4) 2 debunkings from DLC officials of his purported support from the far-left wing of the Democratic party
and
finally
5) one exchange of Judy Woodruff leading a Howard Dean story with a variation of:
"Howard Dean is at again with his crazy wackiness!"
for an introduction with a variation of:
"Howard Dean had the balls to passionately attack Republican policies today, and in a way that has the potential to inspire all sorts of people to be engaged in the political process. In a era where politicians are increasingly shallow and show contempt both for reporters like my colleagues and the American people, Howard Dean has breathed new life into a Democratic party on the rebound! Hail to you Howard Dean, I apologize for being such a stuffed blouse towards your genuine passion. YEAARRRRRRRRRRGHHHH!"
